But it's another occasion to consider also the mystery and glory of numbers, e.g, of Pi. Archimedes of Syracuse seems to have done the first calculations of Pi's value, but here's Gottfried Leibniz's formula for a particular way of expressing it:



Pi/4 = 1/1 - 1/3 + 1/5 - 1/7 + 1/9 - 1/11 + 1/13 ........



Think of that infinite series. The symmetry of it, the beauty.



And the fact that the ratio of the circumference to the diameter of a circle is constant (Pi), as is its area to the square of its radius, has been known for so long that the first source of the knowledge is untraceable.



Think of the internal relations of those measurements of every circle and sphere. The symmetry of it, and the beauty. Because it's of Him, and to His glory.
