Publicity surrounding release and distribution of Constantin Costa-Gavras's film Amen, a work said to have been inspired by Rolf Hochhuth's 1962 play The Deputy, has faded. That surely means another season of mendacious attacks on Pope Pius XII of gracious memory will soon be here.
