I wrote last month about the exceptional exhibit of the work of Anthony Visco at the Art Gallery of the Connelly Center at Villanova University. The exhibit, curated by the gallery's director Rev. Richard G. Cannuli, O.S.A., closes on Friday, 11 October, and I strongly recommmend that you make time to see it in the next few days if you're in the Philadelphia area.
And on Friday evening, the International Institute for Culture presents another lecture in its series Christianity and the Creative Imagination. Dr. Walter Persegati, retired Secretary General and Treasurer of the Vatican Monuments, Museums and Art Galleries, will lecture on Michelangelo Rediscovered: The Cleaning of Michelangelo's Frescoes in the Sistine Chapel.
