I was listening last night to Karl Kohlhase's music on his Through The Dark CD, a fine end to a very good day. Spending time with the Lord on Sunday morning, then the afternoon at a street festival celebrating restaurants and galleries in West Chester, followed by a scenic drive down Route 52 past Winterthur and Longwood Gardens for specialty pizza with some of my family at a great little place just over the Delaware border.
A day of happiness and a day to fill the heart. In Him. A day of blessings that made the prayer more urgent, Ut Unum Sint.
From Karl's song One.
In peace we tie the union with our brothers everywhere
In unity we share the family meal
We break one loaf together and we have one cup to share
Which calls for every broken limb to heal
There must be only one body
As there is only one Son
Praying to His God and Father
"Make them one"
One Lord, one faith, and one baptism
One God and Father of all
One Lord, one faith, and one baptism
One God who is over all
