Posted a reference to E.M. Forster's Howards End the other day. It's been an important novel in my life, not least because of its epigraph: "... only connect." There are implications in the words for the narrative of much of the novel and for its symbols, but it occurs to me now that they could stand as one of the mottoes of the blogosphere as well.



And if sculpture to represent the blogosphere is needed, it would be good to look to one of the mobiles of Alexander Calder.
